WHO WE ARE

Judy and Maria conceived and started this business in 2006, primarily because the equine laundry that Judy was using, closed. At this time Judy was working as a Dental Hygienist and Maria (with a background in Biotech) was a stay at home mom with two children.

We decided to start the business slow and build it slowly, so as not to become overwhelmed. We advertised only in our own towns and the towns closest to us. We have now been in this business for 2 1/2 years, have expanded our areas and our expertise.

The response by our clients has been extremely satisfying. Being horse people ourselves, has helped us understand what our clients want in a service. We have listened to what they haven't liked with other services and what they have liked with those other services and have tried to accomodate all our clients.

We did a lot of experimenting on Judy's horse blankets in the beginning, so we could offer the best to our clients.

We use NIKWAX equine soap (a product of the UK) which contains no detergents. We also use NIKWAX waterproofing that will last up to two years if no detergents are used on the sheet or blanket. And of course we use top of the line washing machines.

We feel we have been extemely fortunate having the wonderful clients we have accumulated over the past 2 1/2 years. We look forward to meeting more horse people in the future who want to use our services, making them satisfied clients as well.

HOW WE DO IT___________

We want our clients to understand how we take care of their horse blankets and sheets.

We not only wash them in a top of the line soap made exclusively for equine clothing, but we also make sure that all the hair is removed from not only the material, but also the velcro, straps and lining. Only those blankets with heavy hair are charged a surcharge for it's removal

Some blankets arrive with a residue of soap and it may take several rinses to remove this . If left in, it can cause skin problems for the horse.

We want to send these blankets back as clean as possible, but sometimes manure and urine stains have been left to sit for prolonged periods of time. It may take 2 or more washings to remove as much of the stain that can be removed without harming the material. The key here is:"without harming the material".

Another stain problem is mold. If these blankets are left for prolonged periods of time, heaped in a pile with manure and urine on them, then mold stains occur. These stains are next to impossible to remove. We offer a fast turn around service just for this reason. We encourage you to rotate your blankets during the season.

All blankets are AIR DRIED!!! A drier is NEVER used!!!! Sometimes it takes 2 or more days to completely remove all moisture from a blanket.

All blankets are washed individually. There is no batching of blankets. We take pride in our services to our clients.

All blankets are tagged with a heavy duty prenumbered tag exclusive to one blanket and registered in our log, with name/address/farm/ tel.#

Each blanket is individually packaged with a secure label indicating:name/farm/tag #.
If a client has multiple blankets, they are then packaged in a larger bag with a dessicant to discourage moisture from getting into the blankets while being stored.
